Ethan Vaughn Berry, a beloved father, son, and brother, tragically passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2025, in Frederic, Michigan, at the age of 26.
Born on March 4, 1999, in Genessee County, Michigan, Ethan was known for his kindhearted and thoughtful nature. He was a dedicated father to his children, Corbyn and Paisley, and cherished his role in their lives.
Ethan’s family described him as someone who lived life with joy, devotion, and love. His siblings, Nickolas, Andrew, Brittany, and Athena, remembered him not just as a brother but as a true friend who always brought light into their lives. Ethan’s fiancée, Mikayla Thompson, and their children, Jorden and Avianna, made up a blended family full of love and laughter.
A talented homebuilder, Ethan found joy in nature, whether he was riding snowmobiles, trailing in his truck, or hunting for pudding stones in the woods. His loved ones will deeply miss his playful spirit and quiet moments spent around the campfire.
Visitation for Ethan will be held at Nelson’s Funeral Home in Gaylord, Michigan, on July 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
