Blake Moore, a cherished father, husband, and friend, tragically passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 28 in Robinson, Illinois. Born on November 8, 1996, in Taylorville, Illinois, Blake was known for their warmth and dedication to family.
Blake is survived by their loving wife, Melissa Moore, and their two young daughters, Raylynn JoLee and Reeslynn Lucille. They are also remembered by their parents, Brian Edwards and Jaime Moore, along with siblings Brett, Bradley, Brittany, Brianna, Braiden, and Conner. Blake’s grandmothers, Jane Moore and Effa Edwards, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also mourn the loss of their beloved family member.
Blake was predeceased by their grandfathers, Randy Moore and Leon Edwards. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, IL. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM.
In an outpouring of condolences, friends have expressed their sorrow online, with one saying, "Blake was such a kind soul, and we will miss them dearly."
